The Scottish alt-rock band, Twin Atlantic played a sold out show at The Troubadour this last Monday night. While this type of modern pop/alt/rock isn’t really my thing, the crowd, which was primarily younger 20-something girls went crazy as they sang along to every word out of singer, Sam McTrusty’s mouth. The band blasted through their 10-song set, ending with their new single, “Heart & Soul”. Supporting this Twin Atlantic show were the hot L.A. up-and-comers, Badflower and Kiven. Openers, Badflower, who have just finished recording their debut record, had the crowd in the palms of their hands with their energetic and lively indie rock. With the buzz around newcomers, Badflower, various music industry folk were spotted in the crowd, including members from the band, Bush. While most people cleared out after Twin Atlantic’s set, it didn’t deter Kiven from giving it their all as they closed out the night.
