Death From Above 1979 have been making some serious waves the past month with the anticipated release of their new album, The Physical World which just hit the streets last week. The band have now shared the official video for their hit single, “Trainwreck 1979″. The video kind of looks like the live show we witnessed last week at Rough Trade Records in Brooklyn. The video switches from scenes of a young female musician struggling to find herself, to some fierce live footage of DFA 1979 rocking the fuck out at a small live show. When we recently caught DFA 1979 in Brooklyn, we were fortunate to be in the presence of as little as a 200-person audience.

Death From Above 1979 have a show coming up at the brand new Regent Theatre in downtown L.A. as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days In LA series. We hope you snagged those $11.50 tickets!
