Bass Drum of Death brought sweat drenched madness to The Echo this past, Sunday, October 19th. That’s right a Sunday! Not only was it a Sunday, but it was an early show! The band went on at 7:30 pm. Anyone who has been to a show in Los Angeles, knows that most shows doors don’t open at least until 8 p.m.

What used to be a one-man band is now composed of founding member John Barrett, Len Clark, and Josh Hunter. Regardless of the set time, Bass Drum of Death shredded as they packed The Echo playing songs from their new album Rip This, released Oct. 7 via Innovative Leisure.

The floors shook as wild fans jumped and moshed. Even if the show did feel surprisingly short, Bass Drum of Death powered through their songs like the mad men from Mississippi that they are.
