Sonos Studio always deliver on-point private performances from many of our favorite bands. Last night, Sonos hosted a night of tequila and cerveza paired with the Mariachi pop-punk sounds of L.A.’s very own, Mariachi El Bronx. The band originally known as the hardcore punk outfit The Bronx, combine their back-in-the-day punk influences with the cultural brilliance of mariachi music to deliver a one-of-a-kind performance. Performing songs from their new album, Mariachi El Bronx III which was released yesterday, the band had pretty much plastered smiles across the faces of everyone in the room. How can you not smile when such good musical energy is surrounding you!

Accompanied by a live Q&A with KCRW’s Jason Bently, lead singer Matt Caughthran shared that “as long as what you are doing comes with respect and from the heart, people notice.”

Take a look at the photos below of Mariachi El Bronx at Sonos Studio. Mariachi El Bronx headline the El Rey Theatre tonight with support from Tijuana Panthers! We highly recommend you get tickets to the show. It’s going to be a fun one!
