Homegrown in Seattle, Washington, Sub Pop was the record label of the 1980s that had the opportunity to sign uprising grunge bands like Nirvana, Mudhoney, and Soundgarden, respectively. After nearly 30 years, the label is still involved in helping artists push out their music to the world. Currently, Sub Pop is working with several contemporary acts including The Postal Service, Beach House, Dum Dum Girls, Father John Misty, J Mascis, Shabazz Palaces, and longtime partner Soundgarden, to name a few.
