No Cities to Love is Sleater-Kinney’s first studio album in 10 years! The band has also announced a slew of tour dates in support of their new album.
2 Father John Misty – I Love You, Honeybear (Sub Pop, February 10, 2015)
In 2012, Father John Misty (aka J. Tillman) grabbed us with his Fear Fun album, three years later he’s ready to deliver a new record. We’re hoping I Love You, Honeybear is just as sweet and weird.
3. Chromatics – Dear Tommy (Italians Do It Better, TBA)
As the follow up to 2012’s Kill for Love, Chromatics will release Dear Tommy just in time for Valentine’s Day. The album will feature 17 tracks including a new version of “Cherry”.
4. A Place To Bury Strangers – Transfixation (Dead Oceans, February 17, 2015)
A Place To Bury Strangers are bringing that Brooklyn noise rock with the forthcoming release of their fourth studio album, Transfixation. The band are trying to keep it “pure as possible” — get ready for some radness.
5. The Black Ryder — The Door Behind The Door (The Anti-Machine Machine, Feb. 24, 2015)
While we had high hopes for the release of their sophomore album in 2014 — the follow up to their incredible Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride — it looks like the band took a bit more time with their next work. The duo have announced a headlining record release show at The Echo on February 25.
