The War On Drugs band

Philly indie rock band The War on Drugs played lots of stuff off their critically-acclaimed third album Lost in the Dream, impressing fans both old and previously unfamiliar with their work during their main stage performance at Coachella on Friday.

A blend of the styles of rock icons Dire Straits and Tom Petty, vocalist and guitarist Adam Granduciel didn’t waste any time getting right into it, playing a guitar-riff filled “Under the Pressure” right off the bat.

Plenty of fans took in the show from the beer gardens as they got ready for their final push of the first day. The War on Drugs brought chilled vibes as the temperature began to drop a bit and the sun disappeared.
