As part of their North American tour, electro-pop duo, Say Lou Lou headlined the Bootleg HiFi in support of their dazzling debut album, Lucid Dreaming. The album was just released worldwide on April 6 via À Deux Records/Cosmos Music. The Swedish/Australian twin sisters shared tracks from their 11-track debut, delivering both beauty and vocal sheen to the stage. This was the first time the siblings performed in Los Angeles, and fans welcomed them with open arms. Very into their sultry vocals and good looks, the crowd really couldn’t get enough of the duo. Some stand out songs included “Nothing But A Heartbeat,” ”Peppermint” and “Better in the Dark”.
Say Lou Lou closed with the “Better in the Dark” and fans went absolutely ape shit. Singing along to the adoring words, and dancing as thought they were under the spell of beautiful sirens, Say Lou Lou fans were on cloud 9. One very excited male fan nearly shoved our photographer to the ground as he tried to stake his claim in the frontlines. We get that you “paid money” to see the band, but don’t be a dick. You were killing the vibe for everyone, dude.
Nevertheless, it was a sensational performances. Say Lou Lou made quite the impression on Los Angeles, and I’m sure we’ll be seeming more of this dazzling duo in the near future.
