Perfecting today’s next generation of soul sounds, talented multi-instrumentalist and producer, Adrian Younge delivered a robust Linear Labs performance at The Regent in downtown Los Angeles this past Friday. The evening was hosted by the legendary Fab 5 Freddy, and included some seriously A-list special guest performances by Kendrick Lamar, Adrian Younge’s Venice Dawn, Talib Kweli, Bilal, Wayne Brady, Opio and many more. Fans were shocked with excitement when Younge, Lamar and Bilal debuted a new song titled “Money Over Love” (watch the video below). Anyone that was in the house can attest that this was an stunning night of music.
Radiating with illustrious soul, rhythmic beats and an all-around good vibes—Adrian Younge is a name you need to remember. Aside from putting on a show that will NOT be soon forgotten, Younge has quite the shimmering track record. He is responsible for the “Sirens” sample behind Jay-Z’s “Picasso Baby” and producing the entire Ghostface Killah album 12 Reasons to Die. With that said, Young is also producing the sequel to Ghostface’s 12 Reasons to Die. Below you can listen to the album’s first revealed track, “Return Of The Savage” featuring Raekwon & Rza.
