This past Friday at the Echoplex, three bands came together to drop an all out hardcore punk assault. Headlining the evening was the highly anticipated return of Head Wound City. With a lineup featuring Jordan Blilie and Cody Votolato from The Blood Brothers, Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian from The Locust, it was a high octane show. As expected, Head Wound City’s performance was a non-stop powerhouse of feral energy both on and off the stage. The crowd looked like a fierce tumbling weed as mosh pits and the usual punk antics ensued.

Opening up for Head Wound City were Loma Prieta and Crime Desire. Both bands did an ace job of firing up the heat and getting the crowd primed.
