One thing that you’ve got to appreciate about !!! (Chk Chk Chk)’s lead man Nic Offer — the dude has no qualms about getting down, however absurd it might look in his hot pants.
Saturday night at FYF Fest, the late addition to the lineup gave the crowd plenty to smile, laugh, and dance about as Offer flexed his wide range of moves while his bandmates got the funk going on stage.
It’s impossible to put into words what Offer’s moves look like, so the only way to take care of that is by embedding an Instagram video (via @neicy_tots) that does it for you:
At one point, Offer even went into the audience to share the experience with the fans up close. It was rad as hell to see Offer and his dad-bod rocking out with his amazing falsetto singing voice, showing twentysomething hipsters they can maintain their cool well into their thirties and forties.
There was a lot of positivity flowing throughout the crowd as people couldn’t help but laugh and enjoy Offer’s showmanship. A replacement for Deerhunter, they wound up being one of the standout sets of the first night at Exposition Park.
