Desert Daze is back for its fifth year with a new location and lineup announcement! The annual festival of music will take place October 14-16 at its new location at the Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree. With past year’s Desert Daze being a sweltering hot and dusty event, the festival’s new October dates and venue promises a much more comfortable experience. There’s even showers this year! Yes, showers.
The new Desert Daze location will boast three outdoor stages, an indoor space for alternative programming (speakers, workshops, Q&A’s, audio / visual performances and more), vendors, bars, food trucks and an indoor diner.
Phase One Lineup:
To top it all off, Desert Daze has revealed its Phase One Lineup. The event will welcome Suicide’s first West Coast performance in 16 years, along with performances by The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Sonics, Deerhunter, Thee Oh Sees, Temples, Pond, Bombino, Fat White Family, Death Valley Girls, LA Witch, The Birth Defects and so many more stellar acts. Ticket Pricing:
Tickets to Desert Daze, along with camping and cottage passes go on sale Friday, May 27 at 10AM. Bundles start at $140 for the 3-day festival pass and $75 for 3-day camping + service fees. Camping/Glamping:
In addition to camping, attendees can opt to stay in deluxe on-site cottages designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and son Lloyd Wright. Pricing for the cottages start at $500 for the weekend and you can fit 2-8 people. More info on Desert Daze lodging can be found here.
Tent Camping starts at $75 + service fees for 3 nights. Car Camping Passes are $100 + service fees. Camping bundles includes a 3-day festival pass and a 3-day camping pass for $195 + service fees. Find more information on camping at Desert Daze here.
