Phantogram

Orange county’s Observatory reached max capacity Sunday night for alt synth pop duo, Phantogram. Their performance was a thrilling one right from the jump. From the crazy cool images projected on the backdrop, to leading lady Sarah Barthel’s fierce getup (patent leather thigh-high boots included), Phantogram gave one helluva performance.

Touring in support of their third full-length record Three, Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel gave fans a taste of the new track listing along with an endless serving of fan favorites such as “Fall In Love” and “Mouthful of Diamonds.”

You can always count of Barthel’s vocals to capture your attention, and her stunning beauty to keep you going. She is quite the wonder to watch on stage. Together, there’s this kinetic energy behind both Carter and Barthel that make their live performance all the more impressive.

Doused in a waterfall of catchy electronic sounds, the crowd happily swayed along to Phantogram’s eerie echoes and enticing melodies. Their impenetrable stage presence lit a fire on the show floor, keeping everyone with two feet moving all night long.
