Ex-Sage

Helping Angeleno beat the case of the Monday blues, Ex-Sage’s residency at the Bootleg Theater on December 5^th gave attendees a reason to anticipate the dreaded day.

Kicking off the night with a promoted secret performance, UK band Blood Red Shoes surprised and delighted attendees at the crowded venue.

Continuing the lineup of supporting performances, Bones, also from the UK, followed up with an energetic and powerful show.

Fog filled the crowd and stage as the sludgy desert rock performers, Ex-Sage, successfully kicked off night one of their three week residency at the Bootleg. The riveting duo known as Kate Clover and Tim Foley never disappoint – their sticky sweet harmonies amidst a chunky, guitar driven sound stands out with an undeniable raw fervor.

Ending the epic evening, Twin Temple delivered a special gothic soul performance. Fronted by seasoned vocalist Alexandra James and guitarist Zachary James, the duo is backed by a New Orleans themed jazz band.
