Israeli band Balkan Beat Box (BBB) took over the Troubadour like a storm. Starting the week with this band represented an inevitable wave of energy strong enough to lift up any spirit. The core trio formed by singer Tomer Yosef, saxophonist Ori Kaplan and percussionist Tamir Muskat recently released their their fifth album “Shout it Out” with all kinds of fierceness. For this tour, they have teamed up with the non profit organization StupidCancer.org giving out all kinds of goodies in their shows.
With world flavors ranging from hip hop, pop, balkan, reggae, cumbia and more, BBB delivered an incredibly energetic performance. The venue was packed with a worldly multi generational crowd that made the entire place shake, with fans encouraged to jump throughout the performance.
