UK Electronica outfit Mount Kimbie are currently on tour and made their Los Angeles stop this past Friday. The duo packed the El Rey Theatre full of music lovers. Mount Kimbie’s ambient noise, synths and percussion immediately set the audience into an entrancing state. The band has grown from their past “post-dubstep” to a more mature and luscious sound. Click and clacks formed enticing beats adorned by soothing horns. Mount Kimbie’a latest release “Marilyn” ft. Micachu encompasses everything about this night and we strongly suggest taking a listen.
