Beach House mesmerize with their musical sorcery at Observatory Santa Ana

This past Friday night, Beach House kicked off their final tour stop of 2017 at the Observatory in Santa Ana. The beloved duo played a perfect mix of songs from albums Teen Dream, Beach House Depression Cherry, Thank Your Lucky Stars and B-Sides and Rarities. The show began once the lights in the venue dimmed until it was pitch black before Beach House kicked off their set with “Levitation.” A stunning display of visuals and stars were projected behind Victoria and Alex as they mesmerized us with their musical sorcery. The duo performed “Chariot” live for the first time since the release of B-Sides and Rarities. “Wherever You Go” also made its live debut during their encore. Fan favs like “10 Mile Stereo” and “Myth” also made the cut in their set. There were very few moments where Victoria and Alex addressed the audience which was okay, the duo was focused on dishing out their signature tunes showcasing their ability to capture audience members in trance-like states.
