This past Monday night Tidal and Vic Mensa had a free pop-up benefit concert in Los Angeles for Hurricane Harvey victims. Fans were asked to bring at least one donation for the victims such as toiletries, school supplies, diapers and more. Vic Mensa fans had the Teragram Ballroom packed, with a line wrapping around the block. Vic performed hits off his new album, The Autobiography. He played songs such as “Wings,” “Homewrecker,” “Memories on 47th St.,” and “We Could Be Free.”  The most memorable moment though was when he sat in the middle of the stage to rap the song about his best friend’s murder, “Heaven on Earth.” Mensa wrapped up the concert with a speech honoring the victims of police brutality, Hurricane Harvey, and voicing his opinion on global warming.
