Fans flooded the Paramount Studios this past Saturday night for an evening they wouldn’t forget. As part of the month-long Red Bull Music Academy Festival, Miss Annie Clark was on site. The modern rock goddess held a multimedia performance in support of her upcoming release of fifth record, Masseduction, out October 13th. St. Vincent is the well-liked project of Clark, and calls for only an appropriately large following. Filling in the more than suitable New York backlot at Paramount Studios, people stood anywhere they could find a spot as Clark made her way to the stage. With curtains only revealing the narrowest little opening on the very end of stage right, Clark stood with her smeared lipstick in her hot pink thigh-high, skin-tight heels – complete with fluffy arm warmers. The musician began a special set planned as a part one of two of the evening. Performing songs in a chronological overview of her musical career, the crowd went wild. Rolling out some of our favorite bangers like “Digital Witness” and “Birth in Reverse,” the energy was out of this world.

Annie Clark is without a doubt one of the best guitarists out there and alone on stage in her fabulously seductive outfit, she knocked the socks off everyone.

When the curtains closed and reopened for the second part of the night’s set, Clark went straight into her new record. Fans present got to hear the already released singles “New York” and “Los Ageless” along with the other ten new tracks. Not any different from the previous, St. Vincent’s upcoming “Fear The Future” tour is one we won’t want to miss.
