The Black Heart Procession wrapped up their West Coast tour this weekend. They were celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album which they played front to back at The Echo in Los Angeles this past Thursday. The mood was predictably dark and somber although it was adorable to hear the crowd murmur “it’s a saw” as the stage lights came up on the black heart at the center of it all, Pall Jenkins.

Sam Coomes opened the show with some rousing heartache. The tour continues on the East Coast this week.
