The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood hosted the sold-out show for the final night of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club‘s tour supporting their new album Wrong Creatures, the eighth album in 17 years for the rock veterans. If you ever wanted to cry over your ex in a dark room filled with strangers, I highly suggest a Black Rebel Motorcycle Club show. The heavy haze and minimal lighting will hide your tears while their melancholy music trudges through your heart. Peter Hayes, Robert Levon Been and Leah Shapiro will not leave you wallowing in self pity searching for a serendipitous meeting, however, hold on to your hearts because by the end of their show they pick you up and brush you off with a rebirth of rebellion before they send you out into the night.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s finale ended with classics off their debut album (B.R.M.C.) and in an act of great appreciation Been gave his leather jacket to a super fan who had been to every show throughout this US tour.

Opening the show was Night Beats, a band whose name that perfectly sums up their sound of dark driving rhythms that set the low key feel of the evening
