Mr. Jukes aka Jack Steadman, the frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club has a new solo / collaborative album and just did his LA debut at the Echoplex.  With a smile throughout the entire show and already a fan base that smiled back during the performance, Mr Jukes delivered a charming night of music.

Accompanied by some members of The Daptones and special guests including BJ The Chicago Kid, they covered all the songs from his first release “God First” recorded in Atlanta,  and a few covers to fill in the time. They owned Lauren Hill’s “That Thing”, J Dilla’s “Fall in Love” and Mr Jukes did a special dedication to Charles Bradley’s memory. The show was all kinds of lovely and his music is worth your time, check it out.
