Rituals of Mine

The city is bursting with end of the year happenings. Los Angeles-based Rituals of Mine joined the festive season with their final show of the year. The eventful night took place at Resident DTLA

Lead singer Terra Lopez was an eruption of energy in every song. Heads bobbed, sweat flowed and hair flew, while the percussion coexisted with the electronic beats. Rituals of Mine’s music is a medley of R&B tones between fire and water. At times, the performance felt like a lovely lament, followed by a storm. The duo’s ability to be sweet and lulling, followed by something so flammably fierce, is quite enamoring. There’s a lot o passion and raw feelings behind the music that is heard through Rituals of Mine. You gotta feel, and you gotta believe in order to create something so full of life.

This was Rituals of Mine’s final show of the year bringing friends and loyal lovers who knew the lyrics to every song, and also strangers that got to taste their thunderous energy for the very first time. For anyone in the room, they can attest to the infectious, emotional wonder that struck us all.

Note your calendar now: catch Rituals of Mine live in 2019.
