Primavera In The City

Primavera Sound LA is upping the ante at their first California festival with the announcement of Primavera In The City, a week of shows at iconic city venues. From the intoxicating haunts of Hollywood Forever and the intimately rowdy Echo/Echoplex to the majestic Wilshire landmark The Wiltern.

Just like the festival’s stellar lineup the bill for Primavera In The City is stacked with an eclectic group of artists and bands. Los Angeles local and R&B singer Giveon and Darkside — the project by Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington — will be playing Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Then there’s London pop band Stereolab who will be taking The Wiltern stage and French multi-hyphenate Jehnny Beth at Zebulon.

And for lovers of the Echo and Echoplex, both venues will be hosting the brunt of Primavera In The City shows. Special Interest and Japanese rockers Chai will both be playing the smaller room. While American/Colombian Little Jesus & Divino Niño and Spanish singer/songwriter Bad Gyal will be taking on the Echoplex.
