1. Subsuelo Sundays at Caña Rum Bar
This Sunday, on Sep. 4, you can attend Subsuelo Sundays free event at Caña Rum Bar in downtown Los Angeles. Subsuelo is a Los Angeles-based global bass crew that assembles a mix of retro-futuristic dance music. Normally, Subsuelo hosts these Sunday parties from 3-9pm, but this Sunday, due to the Labor Day holiday it will last untill 2am. Entry is free until 9pm, after that only Caña Rum Bar members will receive free entry, however, if you wanna party all night long, Caña Rum memberships can be purchased at the door! This event is 21+.
2. The Music Center’s Dance DTLA
The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles has been providing dance parties all summer long, and this Friday, Sept. 2 they’ll close out the summer with a Samba night! Taking place from 7-11pm at the Jerry Moss Plaza, learn to dance the Samba or show off them skills so all can learn a thing or two. The evening’s instructor will be Fransini Giraldo with DJ Yukicito providing the music.
This free event is outdoors and all-ages!
3. Take it Outside: Massimiliano Pagliara + Chris Cruse at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes
You can enjoy the second installment of “Take it Outside” under the California sun on Saturday, Sep. 3 from 5pm until midnight at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes in downtown Los Angeles. Massimiliano Pagliara and Chris Cruse will be performing at this event hosted by Saturn Risin9. Heidi Lawden b2b Masha Mar, Juliet Mendoza and Stacy Christine will be supporting them. This 21+ event will take place outside filled with vintage pop up vendors, full bar and delicious food. Even fancy toilets! 😉

4. House Music All Nite at Catch One
This end of the summer celebration will take place at Catch One on Sunday Sep. 4. Catch One is an L.A. landmark venue renowned for its powerful, cutting-edge sound and lighting, which gives its partygoers an energized environment. You best be ready to feel that bass! The event will start at 9pm and will wrap up at 2am. There will be three music stages with house, deep house and techno, along with a silent disco. 21+!

5. Pangea Sound At Harbor House
You can have a global level dance experience with Pangea Sound this Sunday, Sept. 4 at Harbor House, LA. From dancehall, Latin, hip hop, baile, and more enjoy the sounds by Honey, Falcons, SuperNova, Joaqu.n, Sleepy Joe and DinaBN. Bonus! It’s Joaqu.n, Sleepy Joe and SuperNova’s birthday celebrations. The event will take place from 3pm to 10pm. Food will be served by Patties N Tingz. This event is is 21+.
Ticket prices range from $0 to $25 (free before 4:30pm).
6. Club Underground Labor Day Weekend Dance Party
Head to the Grand Star Jazz Club in Chinatown on Friday Sept. 2 for a dance party to remember. Get ready to move your bodies to post-punk, indie, dark indie, electroclash, Britpop, goth, 80s, 90s, and more. Everything from Bowie to The Smiths, Crystal Castles and more will be heard through the dance floor and beyond! The event will take place from 9:30pm to 2am. The wide range of music and sounds will be provided by DJ Larry G.
