The Ford will be hosting a truly special night of Latinx music and artists with Noche Cosmica on Saturday, Oct. 1. A celebration of the East Los Angeles-founded record label Cosmica Artists that will see four of the label’s rostered musicians perform at the magical venue: including Thee Sinseers, Luna Luna, Katzù Oso, and Irene Diaz. Doors are at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets for the event are on sale now and start at $40 for available seats.

The night’s lineup is a perfect synthesis of Cosmica Artist and its founder Gil Gastelum’s penchant for finding the soul of decades-old sounds rebirthed in the Latinx artists of today. From the doo-wop inflections and woozy romantics of Thee Sinseers, a band held together by its incredibly talented multi-instrumentalists and vocalist Joseph Quiñones, to the pop-flourishes of indie-rocker quartet Luna Luna that explode on their exceptional third album Flower Moon.
Keeping those synth-day dreams alive will be Katzù Oso, purveyor of lush bedroom-pop that sits at the intersection of everything from chillwave to vintage Latin pop. Devouring both of his albums Tmí and Pastel is a must before the show. While singer/songwriter Irene Diaz will dazzle with her both sonically and emotionally concussive songs, which range from fiery dance tracks to soaring ballads. All of which is encompassed on her debut album Lovers & Friends which features some of her most potent bangers including the riveting electro-pop track “You.”
