We haven’t heard much from the avant-garde punk cabaret duo that is the Dresden Dolls for a few years now. As a long time fan of the eccentric duo, the last time I saw them or heard any new music from the Dolls was back in 2006 when I interviewed them for the cover story of Skinnie Magazine in celebration of their new album “Yes, Virginia.” I was stoked to hear this morning that the duo are back in action with two New Year’s shows lined up for San Diego and San Francisco! While both Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione have been successfully pursuing their solo careers the past few years, we’re totally stoked they’ve ended their long hiatus! The Dresden Dolls will hopefully add more tour dates and we’re crossing our fingers for a stop in LA!
