Check Yo Ponytail 2 is bringing down Big Freedia, the undisputed “Queen Diva” of Bounce Music from New Orleans, down to the City of Angels to perform at their monthly show on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Echoplex. Bounce Music is an original urban music rising up from the intimate and fun-loving nature of the New Orleans housing projects which dominate the city’s street culture. Getting the night’s festivities started are Zebra Katz and AB SOTO. Tickets to the show are $15, with tickets bought at the door going for $16. The show starts at 9 p.m. and this show is 18+.
