We have had a soft spot for the indie folk singer-songwriter, Sun Kil Moon, ever since his latest album release Benji. A storyteller unlike any other, the man behind the musical project, Mark Kozelek, began in 2012 after his band Red House Painters disbanded. Since then, he has released six albums in total, touching on themes of his own personal life in coping with the unexpected, the essence of songwriting, the discomfort of being on tour, and especially about the lives of boxers. Sun Kil Moon is known for having a deep condolence for boxers and actually named his project after the Korean boxer, Sung-Kil Moon. The singer-songwriter will be hitting the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, October 9th. Joing Sun Kil Moon wiill be the British singer-songwriter Carina Round.
