As we gear up for summer in Los Angeles, one of the events we look forward to most in our great city of angeles, are outdoor performances at the Hollywood Bowl. The Hollywood Bowl has announced it’s 2015 lineup of concerts. As always, there is a little something for everyone. For the indie fans, the Hollywood Bowl has booked bands such as Future Islands, Tune-Yards and St. Lucia. If your kid is an iHeartRadio obsessed millennial, Ed Sheeran will be performing at the famed Bowl For those with a bit more classic taste, artists such as John Fogerty, Smokey Robinson, Grace Jones and more will also be performing this summer. A few other artists to note are:

Basement Jaxx, Aloe Blacc, Sheryl Crow, Jamie Cullum, Harry Connick Jr., Death Cab For Cutie, David Gray, Herbie Hancock, Heart, Grace Jones, Diana Krall, Amos Lee, Stephen Marley, Ziggy Marley, Psychedelic Furs, Buena Vista Social Club, Underworld, John Williams, and more.

There’s also musical comedies such as “Spamalot”, and scores performed live during screenings including “2001: A Space Odyssey” and “The Sound of Music” sing-alongs.

Gustavo Dudamel will conduct six Bowl concerts this season, including Carmina Burana, A Midsummer Night and more.

Its going to be a great 2015 season at the Bowl! If you think this lineup is exciting, just wait until the Bowl announces more artists in the coming months.

The Hollywood Bowl 2015 season will kick off Saturday, June 13th with The 37th Annual Playboy Jazz Festival featuring Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Aloe Blacc and more. The season will wrap on Sunday, September 27th with performance by Grace Jones and Future Islands.
