Listen to any Total Control song and you’ll either bob your head, dance, or have the urge to mosh – all side effects we relish from the Australian garage punk/post-punk band. What began as a duo with Dan Stewart on vocals and Mikey Young on guitar and keyboards, later expanded in 2011 with the addition of guitarist Al Montfort, bassist Zephyr Pavey, and drummer James Vinciguerra. 2011 also presented the band’s debut album, Henge Beat with a follow up album in 2014, Typical System. Catch them at the Teragram Ballroom on Tuesday, August 18th along with DIAT, Lakes, and Blazing Eye!
