We got “Heavy Metal in Baghdad,” and now skateboarding in Afghanistan, right on. Although bull shit politics may seperate us, at least we got some pretty cool things going on that can join us. Music does always unite, as does skateboarding. A group of Aussies, who call themselves the SKATEISTAN, are teaching young lads in Kabul how to shred the concrete wave! Good on you mates! It’s good deeds like this in such a tumultuous time that allow for hope to breathe.
