Last Thursday, Chilean MC (and all around badass female), Ana Tijoux came to destroy the Echo for a packed SOLD-OUT show in support of her 2012 release La Bala. The Grammy-nominated artist brought her hip-hop A-game with a special blend of politics, humor and a live funk/jazz band. Ana, with her lyrics charged with social consciousness, enlightened the crowd as she sang in spanglish. There was never a dull moment. DJ Dacel complimented her fiercely, spitting some fire while he manned the turntables. The synergy between the two was intense. Epic performance!
