The fiery Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman, Karen O has toned it down a few notches with the release of her new song, “Rapt.” Below you can watch the official video for “Rapt” where you’ll find Karen O sinking in a pool of sadness. Her forthcoming full-length solo debut, Crush Songs will be released on Sept. 9 via the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult.
According to her quote on her Facebook page, “‘Rapt’ is the 2nd song written on this curated collection of Crush songs from my personal library. This track is about someone who became a habit that was hard to kick. Thanks to Barney for making this little video happen.”
Karen O’s video for “Rapt” was directed by her husband, Barney Clay and production designed by K.K. Barrett. Watch the video below.
