After a successful start to his spring tour annoucement, John Mayer has extended his solo acoustic arena tour with the annoucement of a new show run for fall 2023. Opening for John Mayer will be JP Saxe. The new tour leg incudes an added Los Angeles concert date at the KIA Forum on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. In addition to Mayer’s new L.A. gig, the guitar-slinging-swooner-crooner will also perform an encore performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, along with new tour dates in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville and more.

20 years in the making, these performances spotlight his acoustic guitar work with special performances on piano and electric guitar, in arenas throughout the U.S., with European dates to be announced soon.

When Do John Mayer Tickets Go On Sale?
Tickets to John Mayer’s new fall tour dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 31 at 9am local time. The first presale will kick off on Wednesday, March 29 at 9am local time. Get all the presale info below including how to get the presale code.
Fans who would like to elevate their concert experience can do so with John Mayer VIP packages. A limited number of VIP bundles will be available including premium tickets, exclusive merchandise, and more.
Two pairs of front-row tickets will be auctioned off for each show on the tour. All proceeds from the ticket auctions will go to the Back To You Fund, which has supported many charities, including John’s Heart & Armor Foundation, as well as programs supporting at-risk youth and the homeless.

What is the John Mayer Presale Code?
A John Mayer fan presale will take place Wednesday, March 29 at 9am local time and run through March 30 at 10pm. Select your tour date and sign up for your unique presale code. Since each presale code is unique, that means it can only be used once, so don’t share your code with friends.
A Live Nation and Venue presale will follow on Thursday, March 30 at 9am. Select your tour date and use the following presale code: OPENER.

John Mayer’s extended solo acoustic tour is going to be a very popular one and it will sell out just like his spring tour did. To ensure you guys get tickets instead of bots who are only in it to resell at a boated price, we have some pro tips to help you.
First, save/bookmark the ticket page for quick access to your desired tour date. The day of the presale or general on sale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account in upper right corner) at least 15 minutes ahead of the presale time. If you don’t have one, create one now. Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Don’t refresh you page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those John Mayer tickets!
What Are Official Platinum Tickets?
If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.
Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.
