What is the Janelle Monáe Presale Code?
Okay, team! There are many Janelle Monáe presales you can select from. See our official info below and choose the presale that works best for you!
Verizon Up Presale – June 1 at 10am local time
Verizon will offer an exclusive Janelle Monáe presale through their customer loyalty program Verizon Up. Members will have access to purchase presale tickets for select shows beginning Thursday, June 2nd at 10am local time. To access this presale, first, select a tour date near you. You’ll next see the “Verizon Up Presale Tickets” option, and you will be asked to connect your account to unlock the presale. This presale will end on Tuesday, June 6th at 10pm local time.
Official Platinum Presale – June 1 at 10am local time
Ugh. We don’t like sharing this one, we rather gatekeep it for the greater good, but this option does benefit some fans, albeit, unfairly (see below why we don’t like Official Plat tix). Basically, you DO NOT need a presale code for this one! But expect to pay a lot more for a ticket.
Select your tour date, go to “FILTERS,” select “clear all” and then select “official platinum.” Get all the details on how Official Platinum tickets work below; the good, the bad, and the ugly. This presale will end on Tuesday, June 6th at 10pm local time.
VIP Package Presale – June 1 at 10am local time
These tickets are much more expensive, but unlike Official Platinum tickets, you actually get some amazing perks with VIP tickets. The details on what’s included have not been released yet, but soon as we receive them, we will update this post with all the tasty tea! If you’re a Janelle Monáe megafan, this option is for you! This presale will end on Tuesday, June 6th at 10pm local time.
Artist Presale – June 2 at 10am local time
Janelle Monáe will also have her own artist presale on Friday, June 2nd at 10am local time. First, select your desired tour date. We recommend saving the event page for swift access. Next, sign up for the Janelle Monáe presale code to be emailed directly to you. If you don’t like giving out your email, we totally feel you, and we will update this post with that artist presale code (so long as it’s not unique). Alternatively, you can use the official Live Nation presale code below! This presale will end on Tuesday, June 6th at 10pm local time.
Promoter Presale – June 5 at 10am local time
A Live Nation promoter presale will take place on Monday, June 5th, at 10am local time. Select the city you want to see Janelle Monáe and use the following presale code at check out: DISCO. This presale will end on Tuesday, June 6th at 10pm local time.
What Are Official Platinum Tickets?
If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.
Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets
First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.
Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?
If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if they have any resale tickets available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.
Alternatively, you can go old school and show up at the concert when the box office opens, hoping that they release more tickets; or, hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face value or even give away for free. Trust, this happens more often than not. We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.
Also, more standard tickets are often released in the week leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Arctic Monkeys, and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!
