San Holo has shared another single from his forthcoming album EXISTENTIAL DANCE MUSIC with the release of his new track “TINY FLOWERS.” It comes on the heels of his announcement of a massive 2023-2024 tour that will include a performance at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles on October 6th. Alongside their previous offering “BRING BACK THE COLOR” (feat. AURORA) it’s the second single to preview the ecstatic and uplifting EDM that overflows from the record.

On “TINY FLOWERS,” San Holo finds themselves illuminated once more by a desire to harness their ebullient electronica into this joyous reminder of life’s highs. Far more subdued and pensive than the album’s rapturous lead single, the song still excites with this gleaming rush of clarion synths.

But as those riveting melodies subside they reveal the quiet murmurs of San Holo ebbing beneath as he attempts to burn off the gloom of a dreary day by focusing on the small but radiant joys that still surround him. “Think about the beauty in the world,” he murmurs softly against a gallop of beats. “Tiny flowers on the side of the road / If you’re feeling small you’re not alone.”

“‘TINY FLOWERS’ is a song about coping with depression,” San Holo explained. “It’s a reminder that no matter how cold and gray the journey through life might get, you can always find tiny flowers on the side of the road. Little glimpses of beauty are to be found all around us but so easily overlooked.”

There’s an enveloping serenity to the track that lends San Holo’s quaint wisdom a certain earnest splendor. His words arrive just above a whisper through a muted echo of drum machines bearing this ethereal intimacy that’s made all the more euphoric once the melody kicks in, vaporizing the dark clouds above you with their incandescence.
