Pluma’s musical journey took off in 2020 and 2021 with the release of his debut album Ah y Qué? and sophomore album, Efectos Secundarios. However, it was his 2022 collaboration with Raul Vega on the track “El Belicón” that catapulted him into the spotlight, going viral and earning him a coveted spot on Billboard’s charts.
Peso Pluma’s accomplishments are nothing short of extraordinary. He etched his name in history as the first Mexican artist to dominate Spotify’s prestigious ‘Daily Top Artists Mexico’ chart. U.S. simultaneously (“Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 55” with Bizarrap).
Most recently, Peso Pluma broke Bad Bunny’s record on the Hot Latin Songs Chart with 25 simultaneous titles on the ranking. He straight up outdid Bad Bunny’s 24-title record, held since May 1, 2022
His journey in the music industry has set the stage for his current “Double P” tour, where he continues to connect with his audiences through his personal performances. His success is evident, showcasing the immense impact of his music as a proud Mexican artist, as Peso Pluma continues to sell out prestigious arenas and theaters throughout his North American tour, including upcoming shows at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the Honda Center in Anaheim, the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona and many more.
