Neil Young + Crazy Horse are hitting the road for a Love Earth Tour in 2024. The tour will spark up with back-to-back nights in San Diego at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on April 24 & April 25. Several more tour dates will follow across North America in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, Toronto, Chicago, and more.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 16 at 10am local time. However, fans can get Neil Young presale tickets as early as Tuesday, Feb. 13. Get the Neil Young presale code details below.

Last March, Neil Young expressed his disdain for Ticketmaster over their concert ticketing policies, saying “concert tours are no longer fun” due to what he sees as predatory pricing. Ironically, Young’s 2024 concert tickets are currently being sold through Ticketmaster, with his tour produced by Live Nation.

On the bright side, Young has made his tickets non-transferable. Similar to Pearl Jam and The Cure, this ensures that tickets get in the hands of fans and not scalpers. Fans who purchase tickets and can no longer attend can resell their ticket to other fans at the original price paid using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. This applies to all shows except those in Illinois, Connecticut, New York, and Virginia where Face Value Exchange cannot be mandated.

On the dark side, Young is selling Official Platinum tickets for his tour, and they don’t appear to be going to charity. Nobody, except those who can easily afford it and the concert organizers, likes Official Platinum tickets. Find out why below.

What is the Neil Young Presale Code?

Neil Young Archives presale beginning on Tuesday, February 13 at 1 PM ET.

Fans can get presale tickets on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 10am local time, through the promoter presale by using the presale code: ENERGY. Be sure to select your tour date first, and don’t be fooled by those Official Platinum tickets (more on that below).

At time of ticket purchase, fans can opt in to receive a physical CD of the Neil Young + Crazy Horse new album FU##IN’ UP included with their tickets for no additional cost.

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.
