VIVA FALASTINA pops off this Sunday, September 15, in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. The benefit, which stands in solidarity with the people of Gaza, will feature readings by Jessie Reyez and Yesika Salgado and performances by Yendry, Ambar Lucid, and Palestinian rapper Talal. There will also be Latine and Arab food vendors, merch, a dance class, poetry, and more. Grab your ticket and get all the event details.
Presented by For Your Viewing Pleasure and Travel With Purpose, VIVA FALESTINA will take place Sunday, September 15 from 2pm to 9pm. The event is all-ages and family-friendly.
A hundred percent of ticket proceeds and fifteen percent of vendor sale proceeds will be donated to HEAL Palestine, the Healing Arts Camp for displaced Palestinian children in Egypt, and the Gaza Clean Water Emergency Initiative by the Shawwa Education Fund. Loren Medina Jassir, the founder of Travel With Purpose, will go to Cairo in October to deliver these funds.
Tickets are available now and cost $40. Children under 10 are free.
