L.A. punk band Knuckleheadz, from Whittier, climbed over the proverbial golden arches for a takeover at the McDonlds at 1118 Slauson Avenue in South Central L.A. / Huntington Park. Mosh pit and all, the street punks performed their song “Fuck McDonaldz” and more.
According to L.A. Taco, The inspiration for this unique show came after Knuckleheadz wrote a song, titled “Fuck McDonaldz.”
We wrote that song, ‘Fuck McDonaldz,’ because we all know that McDonald’s is poison,” says Tom. “It’s our version of a classic punk song against a corporation.”
About 100 people attended the secret, impromptu show, signifying punk, especially gutter punk, is not dead.
