Fans woke up to a lovely surprise on Wednesday morning as Fontaines D.C. shared a 30-second snippet of a new song titled “It’s Amazing To Be Young.” Shared via the band’s social media today, the song shines with twinkling guitars and a post-punk, new wave vibe. Singer Grian Chatten’s vocals enamour per usual with an enchanting croon as he sings, “Well, it’s amazing, to be young.”
The new song premieres at 10:00 (GMT) on Friday 21st February via the band’s YouTube.
The Irish band recently received two GRAMMY ® Award nominations for their fourth album Romance, which was released August, 23, 2024.
Fontaines D.C. will return to the U.S. for a North American tour run in spring 2025.
