Singer-songwriter and actress Coco Jones is stepping into her “limitless” era as fans anticipate her new album, Why Not More?
To celebrate her new single “Taste,” a sexy and sultry slow jam, sampling the chorus from Britney Spears’ hit song”Toxic,” the starlet held a private ice cream social at Urban Desert Labs in West Hollywood to promote the new song and meet some of her dearest supporters.

While talking to Coco at the event, I asked her to describe the direction of the new album using one word.
Coco replied with: “Limitless.”
“I feel like I forget that I do R&B music, of course, but I’ve actually done pop music before I was ever known for R&B,” elaborated Coco. “I was on Disney Channel, and that expanded my pallet, and I didn’t want to place any limits on myself with this album. Whatever sonically inspired me, even if it isn’t traditional R&B, I’m just going to go for it because that’s me. That’s me.”

Limitless. A word all artists should have in their musical repertoire.
Before heading out, I spoke with some fans about their thoughts about Coco’s new single “Taste,” hopes for the new album, and all about Coco Jones.
On First Impressions on the song, fans shared the following statements:
Sariah: “I absolutely love it. It brings back so many memories from Britney Spears, but I love Coco’s take on it. You did your thing, girl.
Ebonik: “I love it so much. She did her big one on this one. It’s amazing. I love it, Coco. You did such a good job.
Kimi: “I really like the song. It’s really different, and she’s really popping out in a new era.

Mikael: “She’s just doing her thing. I love how she just spreads her variety of the avenues she can go down. She just needs to keep doing what she’s doing. She knows where she’s going.”
Victoria: “I really like the new song. The visuals are really, really gorgeous, and [I like]the choreography. I like how she sampled it by not used Britneys voice. It’s really, really cool.”
As for hopes for the new album, one fan shared they hope Coco “just keeps it sexy, keep it gangsta. Keep it R&B. Keep doing what she is doing cause I like what she’s doing. She’s bringing it for the newer era. She’s up there with like Janet and Ciara. She’s got it.”
Coco Jones will release her highly anticipated debut album, Why Not More?, on April 25th, 2025. The “Taste” singer just announced her U.S. tour with a Los Angeles tour stop at The Novo on June 6. All tickets are on sale now.
