The LA Phil just revealed the 2025-2026 lineup at the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall, and it is one of the best yet. The upcoming season will be extra spectacular as it is Gustavo Dudamel’s final season as the Music & Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. To celebrate the beloved conductor, the season has been dedicated to Gustavo as “Gracias Gustavo.”
While every concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall delivers a one-of-a-kind experience that etches a core memory, we have selected five performances that we are particularly excited about. Below are our top five must-see concerts at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
1. RY X with Orchestra
September 29, 2025
There’s nothing more soothing than the music of RY X. The Grammy-nominated artist and producer makes lush music that is full of emotion. RY X’s music captures the essence of being human, often heartbreaking, filled with joy, and/or cathartic. As part of the KCRW series, RY X will perform with an instrumental ensemble. Pack some tissues because the tears will be flowing strong as RY X teleports you to another world where emotions can be wild and free.

2. Ledisi Sings Dinah Washington
October 3, 2025
Ledisi is one of those classic R&B voices that never goes out of style. As part of the Songbook series, the Grammy-winning vocalist will dedicate her performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall to the renowned blues and jazz icon Dinah Washington. Performing songs from Washington’s catalog, this unique concert will offer two powerhouses in one night. It’s not often you get to celebrate two lauded women in music in one night. And while Washington is no longer earthside, her legacy lives on and will be felt tremendously through Ledisi’s versatile vocals. Get your tickets, or you just might “cry me a river.”

4. Patti Smith and Her Band
November 15, 2025
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of her beloved Horses album, Patti Smith and her band will take the stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall to perform her debut album. Performing with Patti will be two original members of her band, guitarist Lenny Kaye and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, along with keyboardist/bassist Tony Shanahan. Patti’s son, Jackson Smith also joins on guitar. This special previously announced show is already sold out, but we highly recommend you check back closer to show date as more tickets are often released.

5. The Great Wall of Los Angeles
To put it bluntly, any Walt Disney Concert Hall concert with Gustavo Dudamel will be spectacular. However, Angelenos might want to snag tickets to this particular performance as it celebrates Angelenos who have shaped our city’s incredible history. Inspired by Judy Baca’s iconic mural The Great Wall of Los Angeles, Gustavo Dudamel and Gabriela Ortiz have curated a group of L.A.-based composers, including Juhi Bansal, Nicolás Lell Benavides, Viet Cuong, Xavier Muzik, Estevan Olmos, and Nina Shekhar to create an hour-long symphonic tribute. The program will include an original film component by director Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
