Lead singer and guitarist, Britt Daniel shared on this social media the following announcement:
“Morning everyone. We’ve been writing and recording a lot lately but in the backs of our minds looking forward to the tour we’ve got coming up in August and September. Today we’re announcing the first stop on that tour — a gig in Santa Ana, CA at The Observatory. We’re not gonna be doing a lot of headlining shows this year, and I’m really pleased that we have the incredible @petemolinari opening the night. I’ve never gotten to see him, psyched. Love on ya — Britt”
Spoon just celebrated the 20th anniversary of their beloved fifth studio album, Gimmie Fiction on May 10.
