South London rapper Little Simz wrapped her Lotus Tour this past Tuesday at the Hollywood Palladium. It was a chilly night, but Little Simz brought the heat alongside rising New Orleans rapper La Reezy. The two sparked a fire with their unforgettable sets, which kept the crowd moving and singing along, and trying to keep pace with the flows.

The show kicked off with a jolt, doubling as an unofficial warm-up for Camp Flog Gnaw fans, as 21-year-old, New Orleans multihyphenate rapper, producer, and engineer La Reezy energized the crowd with a journey to LAREEZYANA, blending that infectious NOLA bounce sound with his uplifting, inspiring lyrics that fed hungry ears and told everyone it was time to “Move.”

DJ Odd Spinz kept the beats and sounds flowing nice and was also quite the hype woman adding to the excitement of the performance.

Once Little Simz took command, thrilling fans with a two-hour, hit-filled set featuring “Venom,” “Gorilla,” and “Free,” plus a surprise DJ segment with cuts from her experimental dance album Drop 7. Her call, “Dancing shoes on. Vocals on 10,” perfectly summed up a rainy week that turned into an epic Tuesday night.

Missed out? You still have a shot to catch La Reezy this Saturday at the Camp Stage at 12:30.
