UPDATE – Dec. 9, 2025: All remaining tickets for the Foo Fighters at the Kia Forum will go on sale Tuesday, December 9, at 12 PM PT.

The Foo Fighters have announced a special benefit concert set for Wednesday, January 14, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, with donations and proceeds supporting organizations that Dave and his wife, Jordyn Grohl, and the band have long championed, including Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission. The event aims to raise vital resources for food, clothing, shelter, and services for unhoused and food-insecure Angelenos.

“Dave, Jordyn, and Foo Fighters are a striking example of what’s possible when we decide to show up and give back. This concert will be more than just a celebration, it’s a statement that it will take all of us working together to end homelessness in our city so that no one is left suffering on our streets,” said Rowan Vansleve, President of Hope the Mission“We’re incredibly grateful to partner with the band. Foo Fighters and their fans have a reputation of always stepping up to help when people need it, and this concert will be no different.”

The only way fans can secure presale tickets is the old-school way: in person. While you won’t be lining up at Tower Records to get your Foo Fighters presale tickets, fans will have to show up in person at a donation drive on Sunday, December 7, at 12 p.m. at the Kia Forum. Representatives from Hope the Mission will be on-site collecting essential items required for participation in the presale.

All remaining tickets for the Foo Fighters at the Kia Forum will go on sale Tuesday, December 9, at 12 PM PT.

It is still unclear if tickets will be sold online through Ticketmaster after the presale. Normally, with in-person presale purchases, any remaining tickets are sold online later. The Foo Fighters Ticketmaster event page for the benefit concert currently reads: On sale date and time are in the works – please check back!

“The impact of this event goes far beyond one night of incredible music. Every ticket purchased and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors. We’re honored Foo Fighters are joining to bring real help and real hope to people across Los Angeles.”
– Dennis Oleesky, CEO, Los Angeles Mission.

Fans attending the donation drive are asked to bring one or more of the following new, packaged items:

  • Socks and underwear (male, female, adults, children, ALL SIZES — NEW/PACKAGED ONLY)
  • Dried pinto beans (bagged)
  • Pasta – spaghetti, macaroni (bagged or boxed)
  • Dried rice (bagged)

Please note: No canned goods or perishables can be accepted.

After fans donate an item(s) from the list, they will be able to get in line for a physical presale ticket purchase.

Both organizations will benefit from the donations and show proceeds, helping sustain their missions to provide food, clothing, shelter, and direct support services to those experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles.

The concert will also celebrate Dave’s birthday, and he’s asking fans to celebrate by giving back however they’re able—through donations, volunteering, raising awareness, and more.

Fans who can’t make it to the Foo Fighters’ benefit concert, but would like to donate, can do so directly at the websites for Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission.

“What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of people for a good cause. This ain’t just a big ass rock show, it’s a big ass party with a heart.

Turn up the volume, turn up the hope, but most of all….TURN UP.

The best gift is TO GIVE.

Can’t friggin wait x”
Dave

In October, Foo Fighters announced the Take Cover 2026 tour with Queens of the Stone Age. The tour announcement followed a round of special small club shows, including a surprise $30 show at the Observatory in Santa Ana.
