Grimy Goods TV sat down with rising rap artist La Reezy at Camp Flog Gnaw and chatted about his rich storytelling and breakthrough year. 2025 saw La Reezy grinding hard. The 21-year-old artist released three albums, one EP, a stack of singles and features, and also went on tour with none other than Little Simz. He closed out the year with a memorable set at Camp Flog Gnaw and hinted at a new album and solo tour in 2026.
His rhymes strike a perfect balance between his intellectual side and his charming, goofy side, and hearken back to the golden era of hip-hop, when bars were thought-provoking, and the beats and grooves were jazz-inflected, with plenty of samples.
