I’m happy to share the first episode of Grimy Goods: The Podcast. I actually had planned to debut with a different episode, but when my Instagram Reel and a TikTok video about the symbolism throughout Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance went viral, I had to expand on this conversation that meant so much to millions of people around the world, and to me. The emotional symbolism goes beyond Puerto Rico and can even be applied to problematic utility companies, especially in fire-prone locations like California.

Creating this follow-up video conversation, going through my sources, and news clippings to support my commentary was extremely emotional. Not just as a daughter of immigrants, but because of the terror we are living through right now.

Stolen land. Corrupt governments. Corrupt presidents. Sh*tty humans.

Whether driven by local leadership or foreign interests, corruption and negligence have long run deep. And if you pay attention to the conversations surrounding this performance, it becomes clear there’s far more beneath the surface, stories and realities most people simply aren’t aware of.

Watch my hot take in the video podcast below.
