Alina Baraz has shared a new single with the release of “Keep Me In Love,” a glamorous unfurling of romantic desire and need. The Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter has also added announced new tour dates across SoCal that include a stop at The Observatory in Santa Ana on September 15th and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on September 20th.

Still garnering praise from her 2020 debut album It Was Divine she’s followed up the fervor with a constant flow of new music. From back-to-back EPs Sunbeam and Moongate to a collaboration with Austin Millz on her single “Breathless.”

But her latest “Keep Me In Love” teases the arrival of a forthcoming sophomore record while also continuing to establish Baraz as an enchanting and emotionally alluring vocalist. One who wields intimacy and vulnerability with ardent tenderness — her voice a silkily luminous revelation of earnest romance.

Drifting dreamily amongst the distant glimmer of warbling guitars and softly shimmering textures, Baraz lays all her cards on the table as she questions the existence of someone who might match their passionate devotion. “How could someone ever match my, my energy,” she asks. “Enough, enough for me to believe in.” Delivered via her breathy coos Baraz offers in stark terms her need for mutual honesty and trust.

“We pour so much time, love, and energy into ourselves, effortlessly and indefinitely,” Baraz explained. “The idea [for the song] came from wondering if someone could ever do that for you. It’s easy to fall in love but to keep me in love, I long for that.”
